Venus and Mars-Collab [OPEN]
This shiny caught me off guard. Its the shiny Liepard! (unintentional rhyme) Although not a great Pokemon in general, its shiny form is really nice. Plus its my first 1/8192 shiny Dark type Pokemon. I have really nothing to say about this thing, except that this wasnt the Pokemon I was going for (was going for Minccino mostly), but getting a shiny with a low encounter rate is always a treat, especially if you dont have a shiny of one yet. I will admit, I was somewhat disappointed by finding this at first, because Liepard isnt too good of a Pokemon, but in the end I realised that strength isnt always important. If you want to know how Liepard and its pre-evolution work best in battle, theyre quite fast, but lack defences. Its defences are so bad that itll probably get KOd by pretty much any hit that isnt resisted, and even resisted hits will do a lot of damage. Its Attack stats are mediocre at best and really doesnt have many ways to hit its foes hard. Purrloin and Liepard can either be physical or special attackers. However, if you do choose Liepard to be a special attacker, it gets only one STAB special attacking Dark move which is the TM move, Snarl. Unfortunately, Snarl was never released, being event exclusive, meaning Liepard has no choice but to use Dark type Hidden Power for STAB, which is pretty pathetic, because that means it has no additional type coverage, but on the bright side, Snarl is a weak move in general.
