Essex Holiday Lodges - Roydon Marina Village - Roydon - Video Review		 Todays voyage took me to the Paignton and Dartmouth Steam Railway, a former Great Western Railway branchline that has stood as a major symbol of its promotional campaigns, being a major route to the vast holiday expance that was Dartmouth back in the 1940s, 1950s and 1960s when cheap air travel was hard to come by and foreign holidays required a journey aboard a large but incredibly expensive Ocean Liner. Today, the legacy that the Great Western Railway left on this particular route has stood the test of time and continues to be a major part of the South Devon Tourist industry Today, I decided to visit the line to witness a special working in which the lines resident 4200 Class Tank engine Hercules would run double-headed with the recently refreshed Manor Lydham Manor. The day started at Paignton, where Network Rail juristiction ends and the privately owned Steam Railway terminates from the south. Upon arrival, 4277 Hercules was already in the platform after bringing its stock in from Churston and was now being given a last minute polish before heading the first train of the day to Kingswear. With all passengers aboard, the train departed at its 10:30 departure time, passing the latest in a long line of Great Western Railway Traction, First Great Western HST Powercar number 43005 standing at the rear of a London express. GET TURNED ON		 The Separation Series (Song 4) I was lucky enough to spend 5 days in Dublin with my new best friend Emma, and one of my old best friends Nawesome. Thats where we were when my plans changed. Unlike me, they had a life and day jobs to head back to in London, so, after copious amounts of promises that I would be fine, I was left to my own devices. They sailed home and I, naturally, went to the pub. Traveling alone tends to result in drinking alone at some point. I was fine with that, not wanting any company other than my own and that of my Guinness. However, there were days I was sure I had a crazy people come and talk to me sign on my forehead. One said day, I found myself in Cork having a breakfast beer with a drug dealer from England (who was in Ireland to escape his life of crime) and a man who claimed to be the leader of the IRA (with a bomb sewn under the skin of his forearm). Thankfully, the IRA guy got removed from the premises (after a heated argument with bar staff, but before setting off any bombs) and, when the drug dealer fell asleep on the bar, I legged it to the train station. Now, were either of those guys legit about their stories? Probably not. Was I concerned about the possibility of their stories being legit? Probably not nearly as much as I should have been. Thats just one example of many where I felt I was dodging bullets ... and my experiences are not at all scary compared to a lot of others I have heard, this I know. But I was a sheltered <b>...</b>

London Underground Bakerloo Line at Paddington Station		 I spent some time at the North Yorkshire Moors Railway in Pickering, UK during late April 2012. A very impressive heritage railway. Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate, however the coolness and dampness did make for better steam effects. Given how bad the weather was and it also being off season I was surprised on how busy the railroad was. The major station, where the NYMR joins the mainline, is in Grosmont. That is also where the shops are. I am not very knowledgable about UK trains, so any useful technical comment is appreciated. I added two more clips: the first one is at York station while waiting for my London bound train, showing a CrossCountry Voyager and a Class 66 coal train. I have to say I am not a fan of those Voyager units. Than there is a short clip from Clapham Junction. I always like to hang out there for a bit when I am in London since it is so close to Chiswick where I stay.
